Lucille Sherman

Lucille Sherman is a seasoned reporter currently working at Axios since March 2022. Prior to this role, Lucille served as a politics reporter at The News & Observer Publishing Company from February 2020 to March 2022, where involvement in the Poynter-Koch Media and Journalism Fellowship program commenced in June 2021. Earlier experience includes positions at GateHouse Media as a National Data Enterprise Reporter and Investigative Intern from May 2017 to February 2020, and as a state government reporter for the Columbia Missourian from August 2016 to May 2017. Additionally, Lucille interned at The Oklahoman and contributed as a co-host, producer, and anchor for KCOU's Upon Adjournment and The Pulse newscast, respectively. Lucille holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Investigative Journalism from the University of Missouri - Columbia, earned between 2014 and 2017.
