Erika Deschane-Hockensmith

Erika Deschane-Hockensmith serves as the Global Director of Quality - External Manufacturing at Axiota Animal Health, commencing in September 2022, where responsibilities include oversight of manufacturing, packaging, and distribution while ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory standards. Prior experience includes roles at KBI Biopharma as a Quality Assurance Senior Manager and Supervisor of Raw Materials, as well as positions at Elanco and Bayer Animal Health focusing on quality assurance and microbiology. Erika holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Molecular Biology from The University of Kansas and has completed research as a Kansas INBRE Scholar. Currently, Erika is pursuing a Certificate in Project Management and Leadership 360 from Cornell University.
