Debbie Lowe

Debbie Lowe has a diverse work experience in human resources spanning over several companies. Debbie is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources at Axis Finance Group. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Human Resources for the Canada Region at FedEx Ground from 2016 to 2022. In this role, they focused on optimizing teamwork, motivation, and organizational effectiveness. Debbie also worked at RSA Canada as a Human Resources Director, where they supported portfolio growth through acquisitions and was responsible for compliance and risk management of HR policies. Earlier in their career, they served as the Director of Human Resources at EMD Serono, Inc. and held various HR positions at GlaxoSmithKline, including HR Representative, Learning & Development Specialist, and HR Process Specialist. Debbie began their HR career as a Human Resources Administrator at Tyco SimplexGrinnell, where they supported recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. Overall, Debbie Lowe has a strong background in HR leadership roles, strategic HR business partnering, workforce planning, cultural integration, and compliance.

Debbie Lowe has a Bachelor of Science in Business/Human Resource Management from the University of Phoenix. Debbie also studied Human Resources Management (Honours) at Humber College and Business Administration at Mohawk College. In terms of certifications, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in December 2015. In addition, they have additional certifications, including a Diversity and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University, and certificates in Emerging Leaders, HR Law, and Masters Certification in Human Resources from various institutions.
