Claire Butler

Claire Butler currently serves as Chief Of Staff to the Head of Global Markets at AXIS Capital since June 2023. Prior to this role, Claire held various positions at AXIS Capital from January 2011 to March 2023, including VP, Lead People Business Partner & Head of HR for the UK & Irish Entities, where responsibilities encompassed leading HR for the International Insurance & Reinsurance division and implementing global HR initiatives. Claire has extensive experience in HR management, partnering with diverse client groups, and leading major transformation projects, along with significant contributions to the company’s growth in the international market. Earlier roles included HR Business Partner positions at Aviva and various HR and accounts-related positions at Ark Life. Claire holds a BSc (Hons) in Human Resource Management and a CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice from Technological University Dublin.
