Daniel Stevens

Daniel Stevens is an experienced engineering professional specializing in renewable energy, currently serving as the Head of Engineering for Renewable Energy at AXIS Capital since April 2020. Previously, Daniel held significant roles in the renewable energy sector, including Risk Engineer at The Renewables Consulting Group and Director of Resource Assessment at SSE Renewables. In the latter position, Daniel managed comprehensive wind analysis for over 3000 MW of global wind farm acquisitions, led technical policy management, and drove R&D projects for performance analysis improvements. Early career experiences include positions as Senior Wind Analyst at SSE and Wind Analyst at RWE Innogy UK Ltd, where Daniel developed expertise in energy yield assessments, turbine layout design, and met mast management.
