Laura Sime

Laura (Schisler) Sime is an accomplished professional in the field of catastrophe modeling and risk management, currently serving as the Head of the AXIS Research Center and formerly as Head of Catastrophe Modeling Support at AXIS Re. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Catastrophe Modeling Analyst at Farmers Insurance and research internships at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Western Kentucky University’s Chemistry Department. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Meteorology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has attained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation from The Institutes.
