Varaprasad Bhatta

Varaprasad Bhatta, currently serving as Lead/Principal Enterprise Architect at AXIS Capital since May 2025, possesses over two decades of experience in enterprise architecture and engineering leadership. Previously, as Head of Engineering for Capital Markets at Newmark, Bhatta managed a team of over 30 professionals in delivering critical CRM and marketing solutions while optimizing engineering processes and capacity. Prior roles include Business Solution Architecture/Engineering Leader at Chubb, where Bhatta led the design and delivery of complex integration services and established architecture standards. Additionally, experience includes positions at Citi, IBM, and eComServer, where Bhatta contributed to API management, service governance, and the implementation of J2EE applications. Bhatta holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from MGR Engineering College, University of Madras.
