Alaina Moreno-Koehler is an experienced mental health professional with a strong background in providing therapeutic services to clients of varying ages. Currently serving as an IBH Staff Therapist at Axis Community Health since May 2020, Alaina manages a caseload of 25-35 clients and conducts assessments and treatment plan updates. Previously, Alaina worked as a Mental Health Specialist III at Stars Behavioral Health Group from September 2015 to May 2020, serving 18-20 clients across elementary and high school settings. Alaina's experience also includes roles as a Museum Docent and Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where research focused on digital dating aggression among teenagers. Alaina holds a Master of Social Work specializing in Interpersonal Practice in Mental Health and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, both from the University of Michigan.

Las Positas Blvd. in Pleasanton. With 28 exam rooms and 8 mental health counseling rooms, our new clinic will double our capacity and enable us to serve everyone who needs care. ♦ Our History Axis began in 1972 as a health center for low-income children, and over the years has grown to provide medical care for all ages. We also offer mental health counseling services, outpatient addiction recovery programs, a WIC nutrition program and school and community-based services. We have six sites, and serve more than 14,000 people.
