B Gop Kumar

B Gop Kumar has held various executive positions in multiple organizations throughout their career. B Gop started their professional journey in 1994 as a Senior Executive in Marketing & Communications at Hinditron Infomatics Ltd. B Gop then worked at Crompton Greaves as a Senior Sales Supervisor for their Light Source Division. In 1997, they joined Ford Credit Kotak Mahindra Ltd, where they held various managerial roles, including Brand & Marketing Manager, Regional Manager for South & West region, Area Manager for Kerala, Karnataka, & AP, and Dealer Account Manager. In 2004, they moved to Kotak Securities as Senior Vice President & Head of the Financial Planning Group. B Gop then joined Kotak Mahindra Bank in 2009 as Executive Vice President and Head of Priority Banking. In 2010, they returned to Kotak Securities as Executive Vice President and Head of Broking. In 2015, they joined Reliance Securities (Reliance Money) Limited as ED & CEO. Finally, in 2019, they became the Managing Director & CEO of Axis Securities Limited, and currently, they hold the same position at Axis Mutual Fund since May 2023.

B Gop Kumar completed their senior executive leadership program in Leadership, Strategy & Innovation at Harvard Business School from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their MBA degree from Mangalore University between 1992 and 1994. B Gop began their educational journey by studying commerce at St. Aloysius College in Mangalore from 1988 to 1992.
