Igor Albuquerque

Igor Albuquerque is an experienced automotive engineer currently working at AXL Electric Vehicles since November 2023. Prior to this, Igor was an R&D Engineer at INKAS® Group of Companies, where responsibilities included leading the design and implementation of suspension and braking systems, improving armored vehicle handling by 25%. At Multimatic Inc., Igor contributed to the assembly of over 372 hand-built Ford GT vehicles and collaborated with the engineering team on assembly processes. As a Production Manager at New Tech Blindagens, Igor ensured compliance with NIJ IIIA armor standards and developed quality control protocols that achieved 100% vehicle approval rates. Additional roles included optimizing production methods at Ceará Norte Blindagens and an engineering internship at Ford Motor Company. Igor holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade de Fortaleza and an Advanced Diploma in Construction Engineering Technician from George Brown College.
