Sam Shatzkin

Sam Shatzkin's work experience begins with an internship at Blockium in 2018, where they worked as an intern in project management and advertising for four months. Later that same year, they interned at Regulus Cyber for two months.

In 2019, Sam joined the University of Chicago as an undergraduate research assistant at the Human Computer Integration Lab from November 2021 to June 2022. During this time, they also held roles as a hack arts lab technician at the Media, Arts, Data, and Design Center from October 2019 to October 2021, and as a software developer at the Paul Sereno Fossil Lab from June 2019 to June 2021.

In 2021, Sam worked as a software engineer intern at Arch Reinsurance Ltd. from June to August.

In 2022, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Engineer I in September 2022 and worked until January 2023.

Currently, Sam is a Product Engineer at Axle (YC S22), starting in May 2023.

Sam Shatzkin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction from the University of Chicago in 2022. Sam also earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from the same institution in 2021. Prior to their university education, Sam attended Bronx High School of Science and received a High School Diploma between 2013 and 2017.
