Rachel Moreno-Williams

Director Clinical Research at AxoGen

Rachel Moreno-Williams has a strong background in clinical research, with extensive experience in various roles and responsibilities. Rachel began their career at Atlanta Diabetes Associates in 2007 as a Clinical Research Coordinator, where they worked until 2012. Rachel then joined Emory University as a Clinical Research Coordinator IV, specializing in aerodigestive and melanoma cancer trials. During their time at Emory University, Rachel also took on the role of Quality Management lead for the aerodigestive team. In 2014, they joined Medpace as a Clinical Research Associate III, and in 2016, they moved to Rebiotix, where they served as the Lead Senior Clinical Research Associate. Rachel's most recent position was with axogen, where they held roles of increasing responsibility, including Clinical Research Manager and Senior Clinical Research Manager. Rachel is currently the Director of Clinical Research at axogen, where they oversee clinical research activities. Throughout their career, Rachel has demonstrated their expertise in managing budgets, selecting and managing vendors, hiring and managing teams, and ensuring quality and compliance in clinical research.

Rachel Moreno-Williams has completed the Step Up to Leadership program and received a certificate in Organizational Leadership from Dale Carnegie Training. Rachel has also completed a High Impact Presentations program and received a certificate from Dale Carnegie Training. Rachel has a certificate in Effective Communication from RAPS. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cellular biology and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish from The University of Georgia.
