Robert DiLuccio has extensive experience in research and development within the biomedical and chemical engineering fields. Currently serving as an R&D Consultant at both self-employed and axogen, roles have included significant contributions in various capacities from Director of Research and Development at Cormedix Inc. to membership in the National Academy of Sciences' Biomedical Engineering Materials and Applications Committee from 2007 to 2022. Additional prior experience includes leadership positions at Actamax Surgical Materials LLC, DuPont, Johnson & Johnson, BD, and Ethicon, Inc., focusing on the development of medical devices, drug delivery systems, and polymer technologies. Robert DiLuccio holds a PhD and MS in Chemical and BioChemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.
