Amaia Paredes-Redondo has a wide range of work experience in the field of research. Amaia began their career in 2012 with an Internship and Research Training Program at Universidad de Navarra. In 2013, they completed an Internship in the Department of Cellular Biology and Histology at UPV. In 2015, they completed an MSc Project in National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London, and also began working as a PhD Student and Lab Demonstrator at Queen Mary University of London. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Axol Bioscience Ltd., and also as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University.
Amaia Paredes-Redondo's education history is as follows: from 1995 to 2010, they attended Colegio Vizcaya, where they earned a Bachiller Biosanitario. From 2003 to 2010, they attended Conservatorio oficial de Bilbao, Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga and earned a Grado Medio Profesional in Piano. From 2010 to 2014, they attended University of Navarra and earned a Grado en Bioquímica in Biochemistry. From 2014 to 2015, they attended Imperial College London and earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Medicine. Lastly, from 2015 to 2019, they attended Queen Mary University of London and earned a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.
