Prathap Nagaraja Shastri

Prathap Nagaraja Shastri is a seasoned professional in clinical pharmacology and drug development, currently serving as a Scientific Director and Group Leader in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics at Johnson & Johnson since May 2019. With a previous role as a Scientist II at Ambrx, Prathap led functions in Toxicology, DMPK, and clinical pharmacology to facilitate early clinical development. Prathap's expertise is further supported by experience at Charles River Laboratories and Seventh Wave Laboratories in research and study direction, along with a foundational role at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Educational credentials include a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Mercer University and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from PES College, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
