Jessica Tilman

Jessica Tilman has a broad range of work experience. Jessica began their career in 2012 as a Lab Techniques at Laboratory Techniques. In 2014, they became a Tutor at Imperial College London, where they took part in teaching opportunities ranging from tutorial groups of 10 students to practical sessions with over 100 students. Jessica also served as a Practical Demonstrator for first year medical and biomedical students and a Tutor to first year biomedical students, covering statistical analysis, journal clubs, practical sessions and specific areas of research. In 2017, Jessica began working as a Cellular Scientist at Censo Biotechnologies. Most recently, they have been working as a Senior Scientist at Axol Bioscience Ltd. since 2022.

Jessica Tilman has a long and impressive educational history. Jessica began their studies at Markham College in Lima, Peru, where they obtained their International Baccalaureate Diploma between 2003 and 2008. Jessica then went on to Imperial College London, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General in 2009-2012. Jessica then completed a Masters of Research in Cancer Biology, focusing on Prostate Cancer, from 2012-2013. Jessica followed this with an MRes in Biomedical Research from 2013-2014, and finally a Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Research from 2014-2017.
