Sian Humphreys

Sian Humphreys has been working in the biotechnology industry since 2003. Sian began their career at Pfizer, where they worked as a Principal Scientist in the Pain Research Unit, Urology Business Unit, and Sexual Health Therapeutic Area. Sian also worked as a Senior Scientist in the Reagent Provision department. In 2011, they moved to Neusentis, where they worked as a Principal Scientist in the pharmacology team. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Scientist at TwistDx, where they formulated test plans through bioinformatic analysis, designed and tested the sensitivity of assays, and extracted and quantified genomic DNA from varied organisms. In 2021, they began working as a Project Manager at Axol Bioscience Ltd.

Sian Humphreys holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Cambridge and a BSc. in Biochemistry from The University of Manchester. Sian is also currently enrolled in the CMI Level 7 Senior Leadership Programme at In Professional Development (INPD), which they are expected to complete in May 2022.
