Jim MacEdo

Jim Macedo is an experienced professional in public safety and emergency management, currently serving as an Account Executive for Major Accounts at Axon since February 2024, focusing on the implementation of artificial intelligence in operations for large public safety agencies both domestically and internationally. In addition, Jim holds the position of Vice President for the FBI National Academy Associates, Inc., providing leadership and organizational development at the executive level. Prior to these roles, Jim served as an Undersheriff and Sheriff for the County of Calaveras, where oversight and management of the organization were key responsibilities. Jim has also been involved in various leadership roles, including President of the Sheriff's Management Unit, and has contributed to public safety training as a Management Course Instructor. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Management and attendance at the FBI National Academy.
