Rob Carle

Rob Carle has over two decades of experience in software quality assurance and release management. Rob currently works at Axos Bank as a DevOps Manager, where they are responsible for coordinating and executing the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and implementing automation pipelines across multiple tech stacks. Prior to this, Rob served as an Associate Software Release Manager at VerityStream, where they coordinated and scheduled releases for multiple product applications using Azure DevOps. Rob also worked closely with the product management team to track and enable new features. Before that, Rob worked as a Consultant at Xyberplaza SQA Consulting and took a sabbatical to focus on family from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their career, they held various roles, including Manager of Software Quality Assurance at Tapestry Solutions, Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at MedImpact, Quality Assurance Engineer at EDmin.com, and Quality Assurance Lead at Digital Lighthouse/Spider Technologies. Rob started their career as a Quality Assurance Engineer/Customer Service representative at Xybernet Inc. Overall, Rob has extensive experience in managing testing strategies, developing test plans and cases, and implementing automation in the SDLC.

Rob Carle obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California, Davis from 1986 to 1989. Rob then went on to pursue a Master's Degree at San Diego State University from 1990 to 1997, although the field of study for their Master's Degree is unspecified. In addition to their academic achievements, Rob Carle obtained certifications in software testing. In 2012, they received the ISTQB Foundation Level certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board, and in 2016, they achieved the ASTQB Certified Mobile Tester certification from the American Software Testing Qualifications Board.
