Dr. Christian von Falkenhausen has a diverse work experience in various industries. Dr. Christian began their career in 2014 as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Universität Mannheim, where they held lectures, supervised theses, and conducted exercise classes in operations management. In 2014, they also joined BASF as a Research Associate, where they developed a data-driven methodology for aligning supply chain strategies with business requirements and integrated it into the company's supply chain strategy process. In 2018, they transitioned to The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Consultant until 2020, gaining experience in strategic consulting. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Strategy and M&A at Axplora, where they are responsible for group strategy and leading the post-merger integration of PharmaZell and Novasep (predecessor companies of Axplora).

Dr. Christian von Falkenhausen obtained their BA in Business Economics from the University of Exeter in 2011. Dr. Christian went on to complete their Master of Science (MS) in Management at the University of Mannheim from 2011 to 2014. Dr. Falkenhausen then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Supply Chain Management at the University of Mannheim, which they successfully completed in 2017.
