Andy Heiz

Andy Heiz is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy and consulting sectors. Currently serving as the Group Executive Vice President & Deputy CEO of Axpo Group, Andy plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainable energy solutions as Switzerland's largest producer of renewable energy. Prior to this role, Andy held senior positions at ABB, including Senior Vice President - Head of Renewable Power Generation and SVP - Head of Corporate Strategy, where strategic initiatives were driven to align with business objectives. Experience also includes serving as an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company, aiding organizations in achieving sustainable growth. Andy began the career at ABB as Area Sales Manager and Engineering Manager, focusing on power generation in the Asia Pacific region. Academic credentials include an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from ETH Zürich.
