Chris Flanders

Chris Flanders has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Currently, they are the Director of Technology at Axsium Group, where they are responsible for security, data privacy, compliance, and internal IT operations. Chris also serves as the designated Data Privacy Officer (DPO). Throughout their career, Chris has held leadership roles such as CIO, CTO, and CISO, and has also worked in account management, sales, pre-sales support, and partner liaison. Chris is experienced in system architecture, project management, and consulting. Prior to their current role, Chris worked as the Healthcare Practice Manager at Improvizations and owned their own company, WA Consulting, LLC. Chris also has experience as a Technical Specialist at BJC HealthCare, a Senior Software Integration Analyst at Banner Health, a Programmer Analyst II at PetSmart, and a Software Engineer at Industrial System Solutions, Inc.

Chris Flanders completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Computer Science at LeTourneau University from 1991 to 1995. Later, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems at Nova Southeastern University. Furthermore, in January 2023, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
