Elizabeth Hackler

Elizabeth Hackler has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Elizabeth currently holds the position of Executive Director, Scientific Affairs at Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. (since July 2023). Prior to that, they were the Executive Director of Scientific Communications & Medical Information at Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc. (from September 2022 to July 2023). Elizabeth also served as the Senior Director of Strategic Scientific and Medical Communications at Seagen (from April 2018 to September 2022). Before that, they held various roles at Lundbeck, including Director of Medical Information and Communications (from August 2016 to March 2018), Associate Director of Scientific Exchange (from August 2014 to August 2016), and Senior Medical Information Associate (from December 2013 to August 2014). Prior to Lundbeck, Elizabeth worked at UCB Pharma as a Medical Science Liaison (from October 2011 to November 2013) and as the U.S. Publications Manager (from July 2010 to October 2011). Elizabeth also worked at Abbott as a Global Publications Manager (from January 2009 to June 2010) and as a Senior Medical Writer (from July 2007 to December 2008). Elizabeth began their career as a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the Vanderbilt University Institute of Imaging Science (from January 2007 to June 2007) and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Vanderbilt University: Department of Pharmacology (from August 2001 to December 2006). Elizabeth also worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida (from January 1999 to August 2001).

Elizabeth Hackler has a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Vanderbilt University. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science degree in Molecular and Microbiology from the University of Central Florida. Elizabeth also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Microbiology from the same institution.
