Richard Braddock

Rick began his business career in 1965 spending a number of years in product management at General Foods. He joined Citicorp in 1973, was elected to the board of directors in 1985 and was elected president and COO of Citicorp in 1990. Rick resigned from Citicorp in 1992, and subsequently served as CEO of Medco Containment Services, Inc. until its acquisition by Merck & Co., Inc., and then spent a year as a principal at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, Inc. Rick served as Chairman (non-executive) of True North Communications Inc. from December, 1997 to January, 1999; Chairman and CEO of priceline.com from August, 1998 to April, 2004; and Chairman of MidOcean Partners from April, 2003 until December, 2007. Rick was appointed Chairman of FreshDirect in 2005 and became Chairman and CEO in March, 2008.
