Victor Cruceru

Victor Cruceru has extensive work experience in software development and engineering roles. Victor is currently working as a Principal SDE at Axway, focusing on C, C++, and security development under Linux. Prior to this, they worked at Oracle for over 16 years, where they held two principal software development engineer roles. This included working on internal tools for Oracle DB development and infrastructure, as well as UNIX porting and source code integration. Victor also had a short-term role as an Embedded Linux Software Engineer at Tellence, where they developed software for a Satellite Receiver. Before Oracle and Tellence, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at ITC Networks/Nortel Networks, a Team Leader at Atis Uher SA, a Backend Software Engineer at Ogilvy Interactive, and a Software Engineer at DaVinci Graphics, Inc. Throughout their career, Victor has worked with a range of technologies and platforms, including Linux, Windows, Solaris, FreeBSD, and various programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and SQL.

Victor Cruceru holds an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Bucharest, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they completed their BSc in Computer Science from the same university from 1994 to 1998. Victor also earned their Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Physics from Traian Highschool from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in the field, such as "Security White Belt" from Security Journey in 2023, "Practical TLS" from https://www.practicalnetworking.net in September 2023, and certifications from IBM, The University of Texas System, LinkedIn, and Coursera in previous years.
