Adam Bridge

Principal at Ayers Saint Gross, Inc.

As a principal in the architecture studio, Adam Bridge works mainly in the cultural sector to design cultural institutions and world heritage sites that are authentically grounded in their surrounding landscapes and historical moment. Over the past decade, Adam has led large, multi-disciplinary teams in the design and implementation of complex architecture, landscape, and interpretative projects from the Caribbean to the Middle East. He believes architects must be bold and question everything to create buildings and spaces that feel relevant and impactful in a meaningful way.

A former professor, Adam helped to reshape the undergraduate architecture program at Morgan State University to support and reflect the cultures of a diverse student body. Along the way, he learned the value of radical inclusion in the design process, ensuring as many voices are heard as possible so that the resulting spaces can be welcoming for all. Adam’s favorite projects are those that require a deep investment of time and energy, whether that means tackling a week of meetings with community members, a 20-book reading list, or even a six-day camping trip to better understand the essence of a site.
