Mike Barber is an associate principal at Ayers Saint Gross with more than 30 years of experience in all phases of architecture. He is a skilled project manager with a proven track record in supervising multiple projects with complex requirements, tight deadlines, and significant budgetary constraints. A natural leader, Mike enjoys working with his design team to create innovative solutions to clients’ complicated challenges. One of his priorities is bringing clients together to define a singular idea or theme for each project. Once established, he will use that theme as a benchmark to determine the project’s overall success.
Throughout his career, Mike has enjoyed partnering with and learning from a variety of teams and experts. Among his successes are the John and Frances Angelos Law Center at the University of Baltimore, the first LEED Platinum law school in the nation, the Salisbury University Academic Commons, the School of Nursing at Duke University, the School of Pharmacy at the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, and several Smithsonian Institution campuses.
