Sam Katen is a Partner and Attorney at Aylstock, Witkin, Kreis & Overholtz, PLLC, where involvement focuses on consumer protection litigation involving medical device and pharmaceutical companies since 2015. Previously, Sam served as an Assistant Attorney General in the General Civil Division of the Florida Office of the Attorney General from 2006 to 2014, handling civil litigation and prosecution. Before that, a role as a Research Assistant at the Inter-American Center for Human Rights was undertaken from 2005 to 2006, concentrating on research and investigation of human rights issues in the Middle East. Early career experience includes serving as a Marketing Assistant at Metaltek from 2000 to 2003, responsible for developing advertising and marketing strategies for an international manufacturer and distributor. Sam Katen holds a Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University (2006) and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Appalachian State University (2000).
