Kostas Skarvelakis

Kostas Skarvelakis is an experienced professional in innovation and R&D funding services, currently serving as the Innovation Business Development Director at Ayming since January 2015. Prior to this role, Kostas held various positions including Expert in Innovation and R&D management at Alma Consulting Group from April 2007 to October 2013 and EU R&D Sector Manager at ACIES from October 1999 to March 2007, where responsibilities included developing EU funding activities. Kostas founded GNOMI from 1996 to 1999 and worked as an R&D Project Manager at Gradient from 1993 to 1999. Kostas began an academic career as a Post Doc at UTC from 1992 to 1993. Kostas holds a PhD in Process Engineering from Université de Technologie de Compiègne, completed from 1988 to 1992.
