Lauren (Dana) Salzman currently serves as the Supervising Immigration Attorney at Ayuda, a position held since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles at Legal Aid Chicago from September 2017 to May 2023, where responsibilities included Supervisory Attorney and Staff Attorney within the Immigrants and Workers' Rights Practice Group, focusing on agricultural workers' rights. Earlier, Lauren held the position of Equal Justice America Fellow/Staff Attorney in the same practice area. Prior to that, Lauren gained experience as a Clinic Student at the Bluhm Legal Clinic, Legal Intern at various organizations including Legal Aid Chicago and National Immigrant Justice Center, and as a Paralegal Casehandler with The Legal Aid Society. Educationally, Lauren earned a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2017 and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Iowa in 2010.
