Birgit Mispelaere

Birgit Mispelaere currently serves as a Medical Oncologist and Medical Coordinator for Oncology at AZ Delta, a role held since January 2018. Additionally, Birgit is a member of the Medical Council. Previously, Birgit worked as a Medical Oncologist at St. Rembertziekenhuis from 2008 to May 2022 and at AZ St Rembert from 2012 to January 2018, where responsibilities included serving as a member of the Medical Council and Chair of the Ethics Committee. Birgit Mispelaere holds a degree in General Medical Oncology from KU Leuven, completed between 1993 and 2008, and has a postgraduate degree in Palliative Care from an interuniversity program.
