Inge Buyse

Inge Buyse is the current CEO at The Groeninge. Inge has also previously served as a non-executive director at Realdolmen, a member of the Advisory Board at Vandenbussche NV, and as Vice President Welded Tubes at Sapa.

Buyse started their career at Remi Claeys Aluminium, where they gradually coached the company into HVAC business and automotive industry. In 2011, they became CEO of all Welded Tubes world wide, with plants in Shanghai (China), Pune (India), Remscheid (Germany) and Lichtervelde ( Belgium). In 2013, the Joint Venture between Sapa and Hydro was executed, and they became Vice President in the Precision Tubing Business Aread, responsible for all Welded Tubes activities.

In their last year at Sapa, Buyse focused on the integration of those plants in Lichtervelde, adding automotive industries to our business, and developping US. Under their leadership, The Groeninge has continued to grow and expand its reach globally.

Inge Buyse has a degree in international business and cultural differences from INSEAD. Inge also has a degree in Lean Manufacturing from Universiteit Gent. In addition, they have a certification in company law and international tax law from Universiteit Gent.
