Katleen Dirkx

Katleen Dirkx is an experienced professional currently serving as a Special Teacher at Vormingscentrum Hivset vzw since March 2024. Prior to this role, Katleen has been with AZ Turnhout since October 2017, where responsibilities have included functioning as a Data Protection Officer and Legal Counsel, as well as serving on the Medical Ethical Committee. Between September 2011 and July 2015, Katleen took a sabbatical and paternity leave while living in Princeton, New Jersey. Earlier career positions include serving as a stafmedewerker at gemeente Beerse from March 2009 to July 2011, focusing on legal advice and establishing an autonomous municipal company, and as a senior tax consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 2003 to February 2009, where Katleen provided indirect tax advice and assisted with compliance and litigation. Katleen obtained a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Antwerp in 2002 and later a Master's Degree in Tax Law from the same institution in 2003.
