Ruben Duwaerts

Ruben Duwaerts is an experienced medical physicist specializing in radiotherapy, currently working at AZ Turnhout since October 2022. Previously held an in-training medical physicist position at UZ Leuven from July 2022 to October 2022. Prior to these roles, served as an educational staff member at Eureka Leuven from February 2021 to February 2022, and held multiple leadership positions within VTK, including treasurer and team lead development from July 2017 to June 2020. Ruben Duwaerts has a strong academic background from KU Leuven, with a postgraduate degree in Medical Physics, MSc in Medical Radiation Physics, MSc in Biomedical/Medical Engineering, and a BSc in Electrical Engineering.
