Frederik Clauw

Frederik Clauw has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Frederik started as a Research Assistant at Universiteit Hasselt in 2000 and worked there for seven years. Frederik then joined KBC Asset Management, where they held roles as a Risk Manager for Structured Products and later became the Section Head for Derivatives Risk Management. In 2017, they transitioned to KBC Bank & Verzekering as a Credit Risk Model Manager, responsible for designing and maintaining statistical and expert-based models for estimating credit risk. Currently, Frederik works as the Financial and Administrative Director at AZ West, starting in 2020.

Frederik Clauw has a strong educational background, with degrees obtained from multiple reputable institutions. Frederik first pursued their academic journey at KU Leuven, where they completed their Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from 1994 to 1999. Following this, they enrolled at KU Leuven once again, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Economics from 1999 to 2000.

Seeking further expertise, Frederik pursued a PhD in Applied Economics at UHasselt from 2000 to 2007. This period likely allowed him to deepen their knowledge in the field and conduct extensive research in Applied Economics.
