Tim Couvreur

Tim Couvreur, MD, FEBNS, is currently a neurosurgeon at AZ West since June 2021 and has served as a guest lecturer at VIVES University College since October 2015. Previously, Tim held neurosurgeon positions at Jan Yperman Ziekenhuis and AZ Delta from October 2015 to May 2021. Tim completed a senior neurosurgical residency at UZ Gent from March 2013 to September 2015 and participated in an observership in awake neurosurgery at UCSF Medical Center in February 2015. Earlier training includes residency positions in neurosurgery and head and neck surgery at UZ Gent and a neurology residency at AZ Sint Jan Brugge Oostende AV. Tim earned a Master’s Degree in Neurosurgery from Ghent University in 2015, following a Master's Degree in Medicine from the same institution in 2009.
