Waltraud Grünbauer, PhD

Waltraud Grünbauer, PhD has worked in the field of clinical operations since 1998. Waltraud started their career at AMGEN GmbH in 1998 as a Clinical Research Assistant. In 2001, they moved to AstraZeneca GmbH where they held the roles of Therapy Area Manager CNS and Project Leader CNS. In 2006, they joined Evotec NeuroSciences GmbH as a Clinical Development Program Manager. From 2007 to 2010, they worked at Novartis Pharma AG as a Clinical Trial Head and Expert Clinical Manager. From 2010 to 2022, they worked at Roche Pharmaceuticals in various roles, including Global Digital Clinical Development Leader, Senior Principal Clinical Scientist, Group Lead Clinical Scientist, Senior Clinical Scientist, and Clinical Scientist. Waltraud currently holds the position of Head of Clinical Operations at AZAFAROS B.V.

Waltraud Grünbauer, PhD obtained their Diploma and PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Műnchen in 1995. In 2009, they completed a Certificate in Pharmaceutical Medicine at the University Basel.
