Adam Gouevia is the current Chief Financial Officer at AZA. Prior to this, they were the Head of Finance at AZA Finance from January 2016 to December 2017. Adam was a key member of the team for two equity investment rounds and oversaw accounting, finance, and treasury. Before AZA Finance, Adam was a Co-Founder at FluintC Limited from January 2015 to December 2016. FluintC was a startup focused on low cost, fast cross-border payments with blockchain technology. Adam conceived a cryptocurrency payment platform, partnered with a CTO/co-founder, and developed a proof of concept. They developed a business model, business plan, and investor pitches, but shut down the company in 2016.
Adam began their career as an Associate at Wells Fargo from January 2011 to December 2013. Adam then became Co-head of Trading at Pantera Capital Management from January 2013 to December 2015. After that, they became a Trader at Pantera Capital Management from January 2007 to December 2009. Their last position before becoming Chief Financial Officer at AZA was Sr. Associate at Citco Fund Services from January 2005 to December 2007.
Adam Gouevia has a MBA in Finance from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. Adam also has a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. Adam has passed Level 1 of the CFA Institute.
