Jose Castro

Jose Castro, CPA has extensive work experience in the tax field. Jose joined Azamara in 2021 as the Director of Global Tax. Prior to that, they worked at PwC from 2016 to 2021, starting as a Federal Tax Experienced Associate and progressing to International Tax Manager. Jose also held positions as International Tax Senior Associate and International Tax Experienced Associate during their time at PwC. Jose began their career as a Tax Intern at PwC in 2014 and also completed internships at PwC in 2013 and AmeTrade, Inc in 2011.

Jose Castro, CPA obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business, during the period of 2014-2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the same institution from 2010-2014. In 2009-2010, Jose was a full-time dual enrollment student at Florida International University. Additionally, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation in 2018.
