Wael Jammal

Wael Jammal has over 15 years of experience in software development and architecture. Wael started their career in 2006 as a Lead Developer/Architect at Photo Box, where they mentored and trained existing Flash developers onto the Flex 1.5 platform. Wael then worked at BMB as a Lead Developer/Architect, developing a modular CMS framework from scratch using PHP/MySQL and a web service API. In 2007, they worked as a Flex Developer at Tribal DDB, where they wrote an image processing Windows Application using C# and took ownership of the car configurator section of the VW Website. From 2008 to 2010, Wael worked at Key Criteria, HSBC, Sohnar and Hooplo / Sacred Duck Games, where they architected solutions and built relevant SDKs and APIs using C#/AS3 and Java. From 2014 to 2021, they worked at Black Swan Data and azarc.io, where they designed and wrote front end and backend frameworks along with build systems, worked with clients such as Panasonic, Samsung, British Airways, Quantas, JAP Airlines, Gate Gourmet and other enterprise clients, and developed a prototype for a new in flight portal editing product. In 2021, they started their current role as Head of Architecture at Azarc.

Wael Jammal attended Claysmore from 1990 to 1993. Wael then attended WLC London from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a GCSE in Computer Science. Wael also attended LCS.
