Jeffrey Kim

Jeffrey Kim is a Technical Application Scientist 2 at Azenta Life Sciences since September 2022, providing expert guidance on Next Generation Sequencing projects and presenting genomic capabilities to biotech companies across the USA. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at UT Health San Antonio from August 2015 to May 2022, where research focused on the G2019S mutation in LRRK2 using induced pluripotent stem cells. Additionally, Jeffrey co-founded Enventure San Antonio, a non-profit supporting life science innovation for advanced degree students, and served as the National Liaison and Communications Coordinator for the SACNAS Chapter at UT Health San Antonio, facilitating scientific outreach initiatives. Jeffrey holds a PhD in Integrated Biomedical Sciences from UT Health San Antonio and a BS in Neuroscience from Stony Brook University.
