Chris H. has an extensive work experience in the private equity and portfolio operations field. Chris began their career in 2007 as a Managing Director at KKR Capstone, where they were responsible for leading and managing personnel in KKR Capstone’s NY office. In 2014, they joined HP as the Head of Organizational Performance & HPE Separation Leader. In 2015, they were promoted to HPE Chief Operating Officer & Software Division General Manager, Executive Vice President, where they were responsible for leading the Software Division and the HPE Financial Services Division. In 2017, they were appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Micro Focus (formerly HP / Hewlett Packard Enterprise). In 2018, they joined Andreessen Horowitz as an Advisory Partner, and also served as an Independent Director on the Neustar Board of Directors and the Chairman of the Neustar Data Privacy, Data Governance and Cyber Security Committee. In 2021, they became an Independent Director for Talent.com and an Independent Chairman of the board, nomination and governance committee chair and member of the audit committee for Redaptive Inc. Currently, Chris H. is the Managing Director of Private Equity and Portfolio Operations at Elliott Investment Management L.P.
Chris H. completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Economics (major) and Mechanical Engineering (minor) from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1992. Chris then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance, Strategy and Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, which they completed in 2001.
