Thomas Boni

Thomas Boni has extensive work experience in the energy trading industry. Thomas began their career in 2003 as a Portfolio Manager at A2A, where they worked until 2005. Thomas then joined Azienda Elettrica Ticinese as a Portfolio Manager, Power Trader, and Dispatcher, managing energy trading and cross-border exchange auctions. In 2006, they joined ELECTRABEL - GDF SUEZ GROUP as a Continental Gas Trader, responsible for physical and financial trading of natural gas and managing the Benelux portfolio. Thomas returned to Azienda Elettrica Ticinese in 2008, where they held various roles including Senior Trader and Portfolio Manager, Head of Long Term Trading, and most recently, Head of Market Portfolio Management.

Thomas Boni obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, which they attended from 1995 to 2002. In 2003, they enrolled at MIP Politecnico di Milano for an Advanced Course in Management, Economics, and Law of network-based services, without earning a specific degree. In 2005, Thomas Boni pursued further education by completing a Habilitation as a Derivatives Market Trader (Futures and Options) and Spot Market Trader at the European Energy Exchange (EEX). Additionally, they obtained another habilitation as a Spot and Environmental Market Trader from the Energy Exchange Austria (EXAA) in the same year.
