Matteo Puntoni

Matteo Puntoni is a seasoned biologist and epidemiologist with extensive experience in biostatistics and clinical research. Currently, Matteo serves as a Biologist-Epidemiologist at the University Hospital of Parma since January 2022. Prior to this role, Matteo worked at E.O. Galliera Hospital from April 2005 to December 2021, primarily as a Biostatistician in the Office of the Scientific Director, focusing on clinical trial design, analysis, and funding for research. Earlier positions include a Biostatistician role at the Unit of Biostatistics, Dept. of Oncology, Biology and Genetics at the University of Genoa and a Data Manager & Junior Biostatistician position at Medi Service S.r.l. Matteo holds a PhD in Biostatistics in Biology & Genetics from Università degli Studi di Genova and a PhD in Medical Statistics from Università di Pavia, complementing a degree in Molecular Biology from the same institution.
