Urmila Mohanta currently serves as the Manager of Design at Azim Group since December 2023. In addition, Urmila is the Founder of Wave By Urmila, which has been operational since August 2020. Previously, Urmila held the position of Manager in Research & Development for Women's Clothing at Uniqlo Social Service Bangladesh from April 2016 to July 2020. Prior experience includes working as a Designer at BRAC, Aarong from May 2012 to March 2016 and as a Designer at Smartex, Bangladesh from December 2011 to May 2012. Urmila Mohanta earned a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology in Kolkata between 2007 and 2011.
