AZOPT and Kids Place

Our mission is to create long lasting results through one-on-one personalized care, detailed explanations, and education. Arizona Orthopedic Physical Therapy (AzOPT) was established in 2007 in Goodyear. After working many years for other physical therapy practices, Ryann believed there was a better approach to physical therapy than packing a therapist’s schedule and using techs to guide his patients’ experience. Ryann wanted a practice that emphasized quality, personalized care led by only licensed physical therapists. He wanted to spend more time with each patient – helping each function at their best, move without pain, and build strength to avoid future injuries. Similarly, Kids Place opened our first pediatric therapy practice in 2008 in Goodyear. Teri recognized an immense need for licensed therapists in the West Valley who specialized in pediatrics. A pediatric physical therapist by trade, Teri believed in the powers of collaboration in an open gym setting to maximize each child’s potential. With a separate, family-friendly facility dedicated exclusively to pediatrics, our physical, occupational, speech, and feeding therapists work as a team to provide top-notch services to children with developmental, neurological, and orthopedic diagnoses. AzOPT & Kids Place employs only highly educated and licensed therapists who spend more time with each patient one-on-one, without the use of techs, aides, or assistants. We strive for a professional, yet relaxed environment with a unique balance of fun and hard work as patients and therapists work together to achieve results. Our therapists are committed to positively impacting the lives of each patient by helping meet milestones, restore function, and maximize living.
