Sherri Rucker

Sherri Rucker is the Owner and CEO of Sherri The Zen Doula, with a focus on maternal healthcare as a Certified Full Spectrum Doula for Petit Nannies & Newborn Care and a Maternal Healthcare Provider at AZOVA, both serving since April 2024. Rucker also provides full spectrum birth and postpartum support at Nurtured Beginnings Postpartum. Following a 20-year career in secondary education, Rucker transitioned to exploring yoga, Ayurveda, and doula work while raising five children during the Global Pandemic. This career shift was complemented by various teaching roles in dance and physical education across multiple school districts and organizations. Rucker holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Fullerton, and multiple certifications in yoga and doula training from Pacific College of Health and Science and other institutions.
