Arizona Public Media
Emma Gibson is an experienced journalist and media producer with a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Colorado Boulder and an Extended Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Northern Arizona University. Since December 2018, Emma has served as a Tribal Affairs Radio Reporter and producer for The Buzz at Arizona Public Media. Previous roles include Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, where responsibilities included teaching Media Law and Ethics, and internships at KGNU Community Radio and eTown, where Emma focused on news reporting and community storytelling. Additional experience includes a Data Specialist position at Archaeology Southwest, contributing author roles at Matador Network and Epicure and Culture, and collections care at the Museum of Northern Arizona. Emma's diverse skills in reporting, production, research, and education highlight a strong background in both journalism and cultural anthropology.
