Jiří Holuša

Jiří Holuša has a diverse work experience history. Jiří began their career as a Lecturer at Masaryk University, teaching basic Java courses from September 2014 to July 2015. Jiří later returned to the university in September 2016 as a Lecturer, continuing to teach until June 2017.

During their time at Red Hat from August 2013 to July 2017, Jiří worked as a Quality Assurance Associate and later as a Quality Engineer for the JBoss Data Grid/Infinispan Quality Engineering team.

From January 2014 to February 2019, they served as the Project Lead for PerfRepo, an open-source web application tool for capturing and analyzing performance test results.

In July 2018, Jiří joined Hazelcast as the QA Team Lead, responsible for coordinating all Quality Engineering tasks and expanding the scope of work for multiple teams. From May 2020 to June 2022, they took on the role of Product Manager of Platform/IMDG, leading the direction of several Engineering teams and managing the Hazelcast Platform product.

Jiří'scurrent position is as a Senior Product Manager at Azul, a role they started in July 2022.

Jiří Holuša obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics from Masaryk University Brno, starting in 2011 and finishing in 2014. Jiří then pursued a Master's degree in Applied Informatics from the same university, which they completed between 2014 and 2016. In addition to their educational achievements, Jiří Holuša also obtained several certifications. Jiří received the Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Persistence in November 2016, the Red Hat Certificate of Expertise in Containerized Application Development in June 2017, and completed a course, "Parallel Programming in Java," on Coursera in February 2019.
