Tony Cowan

Tony Cowan is an experienced construction vessel representative with a diverse background in marine offshore operations. Currently serving at Azule Energy since October 2023, Tony is responsible for overseeing construction activities. Previously, Tony held positions at bp from 2012 to present, specializing in construction vessel representation across various significant projects, including the Tangguh LNG Gas Expansion Project and the installation of subsea infrastructure. Prior roles include work as a marine offshore superintendent at Balfour Beatty plc and subsea operations client representative at Shell UK, where responsibilities included monitoring contractor compliance with safety and operational guidelines. Tony’s career commenced in the North Sea, working as a commercial air and saturation diver from 1984 to 1996. Educationally, Tony was trained at Birkenhead Engineering College and Pensby School.
